Children’s Museum of New Hampshire – The library pass allows reduced admission of 50% to the museum for up to 4 people. For directions and more information contact the Children Museum at Children’s Museum of New Hampshire

Museum of Science (Boston) – We are able to give out one pass per day. The pass allows $7 admission for up to 4 people to the Musem’s main exhibit halls. Other exhibits such as the Omni Theater and the planetarium are extra. To find out about current exhibits visit www.mos.org
Currier Museum of Art – The library has a pass to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. The Currier is considered one of New England’s finest regional museums. The pass allows free admission for up to 4 adults. Children under 18 are always free. Check out the special exhibits at Currier Gallery of Art

Museum of Fine Arts – Once again we are able to offer a pass to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. This pass allows two people reduced general admission ($7.00 per person) as well as half price admission to the special exhibits, on a space available basis. McAuliffe -Shepard Discovery Center and Planetarium – The library pass can be applied for up to $36.00 off the cost of admission to the Discovery Center. The cost of attending a planetarium show will be $5.00 per person. The library pass may be used by one patron per day, towards one show per day. Seacoast Science Center – Each pass allows one family plus two adults free admission to the center. Parking at Odiorne State Park is not included and may cost extra. For more information about the Seacoast Science Center visit their website at http://www.seacoastsciencecenter.org/
SEE Science Center – Each pass alows one family a visit to SEE. “Family” includes members of a household plus grandparents. SEE is open seven days a week. Check out current exhibits and hours at SEE Science Center

Strawbery Banke - Each pass allows two families ( 2 adults and up to four children) free admission to Strawbery Banke including it’s signature events. The signature events are: An American Celebration (July 4), New Hampshire Fall Festival , Ghosts on the Banke and Candlelight Stroll. These special events are very popular, so reserve the pass early. The museum is open every day from May 1 – Oct. 31. Winter are hours are limited. Check out current events and hours at Strawbery Banke. www.strawberybanke.org

Those are very expensive for a little library like us. I am keeping track of the requests for it and will see if we have enough interest to justify the cost. You still have to pay for the shows etc even with the pass.

Maybe there could be a specific fundraiser for getting passes to Boston Museum of Science/ Boston Childrens Museum. People (like us) who wish you had them could help organize and run it. How much are they?
