Enduring the Night: Courageous Stories of Survival by Former Girl Soldiers
Join us for an author talk about our October art exhibit.
Lifted from the rich traditions of storytelling in Uganda, this book seeks to capture the stories of war, heartache, faith, and forgiveness in one community from the moving perspective of one conflict survivor. The powerful stories and stunning photography in Enduring the Night shine a light on the children in conflict zones worldwide and how ChildVoice, a New Hampshire-based nonprofit, is making a difference.
Come hear Kristin Barlow, co-author of Enduring the Night, as she shares about the true-life stories in her book. She will be joined by ChildVoice founder, Conrad Mandsager, who will talk about the amazing work this nonprofit, founded here in Nottingham, is doing to give hope to children who have been affected by war in northern Uganda and South Sudan.
