The Nottingham Tri-centennial Celebration Committee is sponsoring a contest to design a logo for the 300th anniversary of the founding of the town (1722 – 2022). The contest is open to Nottingham residents only, and will have two divisions:
- (1.) Elementary and Middle School students
- (2.) High School students and adults
A $75 prize and bragging rights will be awarded to the winning entry in each division. Designs should consist of a line drawing – either freehand or computer-generated – on a sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of white paper and be suitable for reproduction. Designs should represent Nottingham’s heritage.
Entries should be submitted at the Blaisdell Memorial Library in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “300-TH LOGO CONTEST”. Entrant’s name and contact information should be written on the REVERSE side of the entry. Entries will be placed on display at the library, and the winners determined by a panel of judges. Deadline for entries is Saturday, January 27. By submitting an entry, the entrant assigns to the Town of Nottingham without reservation all copyrights and ownership of the design, including but not limited to, the Town’s right to reproduce and alter the image in the Town’s sole discretion and agrees to indemnify and hold the Town harmless from any and all claims that the design infringes upon or violates any copyright
