MUSEUM PASSES

*Most museums are either currently closed or operating under restricted hours. Please contact the museum (individual museum information below) prior to asking Blaisdell Memorial Library for a library pass. Each museum has specific Covid-19 policies, protocols, and hours of opertation.**

To reserve any museum pass, please contact the library at 679-8484 or at blaisdellml@comcast.net

Patrons must pick up all museum passes at the library in advance of their museum visit during the library’s hours of operation.

ACTIVE MUSEUM PASSES

Children’s Museum of New Hampshire (Dover) ** All visitors must pre-register with CMNH online prior tp the visit.** – The library pass allows reduced admission of 50% to the museum for up to 4 people.  All children under the age of 1 are free.  For directions and more information contact the Children Museum at www.childrens-museum.org

Currier Museum of Art (Manchester) **Reopened April 1st. Call CMA ahead for time slot/reservations** -The library has 2 passes to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester.  Each pass allows free general admission for up to 2 adults (18 years and over) and all youth family members (ages 13 – 17); children 12 years and under are admitted without charge.  Passes are not valid for “Just-for-Members” events, member discount at the Museum Shop, for admission to the Zimmerman House, or special ticketed events.  Also, the Currier Museum of Art is closed every Tuesday. Seacoast Science Center (Rye) **Weekends only and please schedule reservations in advance using the link below or call ahead at (603) 436-8043** -The library’s membership to the Seacoast Science Center admits two adults and up to four children or grandchildren into the Center at 50% off the cost of regular admission.  Two library passes may be issued per day.  The pass holder also will receive a 10% discount at the Nature Store, and can be admitted to the Seacoast Science Center during members-only winter hours. SEE Science Center (Manchester) **Weekends and “special days” only. Call SEE ahead for reservations** -The library can send two visitors per weekend day. First, please call SEE at 603-669-0400 to register and then contact the library for vistitor passes.

Strawbery Banke (Portsmouth) **Check website link below for hours, ticketing, and available events/programs**– The library has 2 membership cards to be used each day Strawbery Banke is open.  Each pass allows unlimited free daily admission for two adults and up to four children, as well as free admission to special events, including the Candlelight Stroll, Ghosts on the Banke and July 4th: An American CelebrationSpecial events are very popular, so please reserve the pass early if you plan on using the library membership card.  The museum is open every day from May 1 – Oct. 31.  Winter hours are limited.  Check out current events and hours at www.strawberybanke.org

INACTIVE MUSEUM PASSES

Bedrock Gardens (Lee) **Bedrock Gardens will be opening Wednesday, May 12th through October 11th. They will be open Tuesday through Friday, and the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month. The hours will be 10am – 4pm. Blaisdell Library has one family pass per day which includes children and grandchildren. For more information please visit bedrockgardens.org.
