Each museum has specific Covid-19 policies, protocols, and hours of opertation.**
Patrons then must pick up all museum passes at the library in advance of their museum visit during the library’s hours of operation.
ACTIVE MUSEUM PASSES
Bedrock Gardens (Lee) **Bedrock Gardens will be open Wednesday, May 12th through October 11th. They will be open Tuesday through Friday, and the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month. The hours will be 10am – 4pm. Blaisdell Library has one family pass per day which includes children and grandchildren. For more information please visit bedrockgardens.org.
Children’s Museum of New Hampshire (Dover) **All visitors must pre-register with CMNH online prior to the visit.** – The library pass allows reduced admission of 50% to the museum for up to 4 people. All children under the age of 1 are free. For directions and more information contact the Children Museum at www.childrens-museum.org
Currier Museum of Art (Manchester) **No previous registration required and masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated patrons. -The library has 2 passes to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. Each pass allows a 50%-off general admission for up to 2 adults (18 years and over) and all youth family members (ages 13 – 17); children 12 years and under are admitted without charge. Passes are not valid for “Just-for-Members” events, member discount at the Museum Shop, for admission to the Zimmerman House, or special ticketed events such as the Frank Lloyd Wright Tour. Check out the special exhibits at www.currier.org or call ahead at 603-518-4908. The open hours are: Thursday-Sunday 10am – 5pm. Thursday evenings from 5 – 8 are “Free Art after Work” sessions.
Museum of Science (Boston) **Please call (617-723-2500) the MOS at least 1-2 days ahead of your intended booking date to schedule your timed ticket and payment is due when you make your reservation. -After booking via phone please contact the library and a paper ticket with your specific museum visit date will be made available to you. Your reservation/ticket is only good for the date printed on the pass. The ticket grants up to 4 people (children under 3 are free but must have a timed ticket) admission at a 50% discount to the Exhibit Hall. An email confirmation will be sent after the reservation is made. Please bring and show both the library pass and email confirmation from the museum to the front gate. Seacoast Science Center (Rye) **Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 10am – 4pm at 50% capacity. Three timeslots are available for those hours. Please schedule reservations in advance using this admissions link** – After clicking the admissions link please choose Admission Tickets, then Member & Pass Holder Admission. Choose your date and time on the new window. Next choose number and ages for you party and you should select: Member or Pass Holder – Pass Holder; Type of Pass – Library; Name of Library – Blaisdell Library. Strawbery Banke (Portsmouth) **Check website link below for hours, ticketing, and available events/programs**– The library has 2 membership cards to be used each day Strawbery Banke is open. Each pass allows unlimited free daily admission for two adults and up to four children, as well as free admission to special events, including the Candlelight Stroll, Ghosts on the Banke and July 4th: An American Celebration. Special events are very popular, so please reserve the pass early if you plan on using the library membership card. The museum is open every day from May 1 – Oct. 31. Winter hours are limited.
